Helping young people build structure, support, and a stronger way forward.

Welcome to Project Me Foundation Inc.

Youth. Community. Possibility.

Support for young people after the system stops showing up

Project Me Foundation Inc. was created for young people who need support after the usual systems stop showing up. We serve youth and young adults ages 13 to 24 coming from foster care or juvenile justice, family court involvement, and other underserved circumstances.

When the paperwork ends, their lives are still moving. That is where we step in.

We offer steady guidance with clear expectations and the structure young people need to understand what comes next.

Why Project Me Exists

Too many young people are told to “figure it out” without the tools or stability they need, much less steady support. We do not accept that as the end of the story.

At Project Me Foundation Inc., support is active. We build habits and teach skills while helping young people practice accountability in a real way.

Participants are not treated like problems to manage. They are challenged and coached, with support as they rebuild confidence, discipline, and a clearer sense of direction.

Structure

Clear routines and expectations, backed by support that helps participants start building stability.

Skills

Practical learning and mentorship through hands-on work that can carry into school, jobs, and daily life.

Direction

A pathway that helps young people see the next step and practice the discipline needed to reach it.

Why This Work Matters

According to a December 2025 report by the Mayor’s Office of Criminal Justice, arrests for Serious Violent Felony Offenses (SVFOs) by youth under 18 increased from 9.8% of the total in 2018 to 15.6% in 2024, with a further jump to 23.3% mid-year in 2025.

While this report focuses on New York City, it reflects broader concerns about youth violence, transition support, and prevention work across New York State.

Specific age cohorts within this New York City data show significant increases in SVFO arrests between 2018 and 2024:

182%

Arrests up among 13–15 year-olds

124%

Arrests up among 16–17 year-olds

69%

Arrests up among 18–19 year-olds

+13.5

Point increase in under-18 share of Serious VFO arrests

Our goal is to help reduce these numbers over time by giving young people better options before crisis becomes routine. We combine structure with mentorship, creative work, and practical skill-building so youth can build alternatives to the violence and instability many face every day.

A future where no young person is left behind because a system closed a case.

A future where transition comes with guidance, not abandonment.

A future where discipline, purpose, and leadership are taught through practice.
